My Story - The marathon continues
GROWING UP
De’Vaughn was born in Washington, DC and raised in PG County Maryland during his early teenage years. He grew up playing Football, was a member of the Swim Team, did karate, and played multiple instruments. He found a love for Community/Entrepreneurship early as his father was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc and his mother opened her own Hair Salon.
COLLEGE DAYS
De’Vaughn attended Virginia State University, where he studied Business and Sport Mgmt. During his time at VSU he interned with NASCAR, the Arena Football League, and Minor League Baseball, gaining hands on experience in Marketing, Sales, & Community Engagement. He also joined NAACP and a Performing Arts org, PANIC 2000. He graduated May 2019 with his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education/Sport Mgmt.

Professional career
Post graduation De’Vaughn found himself with no job offers but discovered a part time “Street Team” position on LinkedIN with the Brooklyn Nets. He landed the role but still lived in DC. For a month he traveled back n forth from DC to NYC EVERYDAY with the hopes of possibly landing a full time offer. After the summer, he was named MVP of the Street Team and was offered a Full-time in the Inside Sales Dept. He’s also worked for the Charlotte Hornets, Amazon at the Headquarters, and FanDuel Sportsbook.
Community Brand/Initiatives
De’Vaughn uses his Creativity through his Clothing brand Complex Season to also empower and serve underserved communities in the DMV. He’s hosted Toy/Food/Clothing Drives and also start a Scholarship to help undergraduate students with college tuition. His brand has been supported by NBA stars James harden, Jason Tatum, and Zion Williamson. Also artist Rick Ross. De’Vaughn recently collaborated with the NFL & Washington Commanders on a T-shirt design for HBCU NIGHT.
